Activate and Install Find My Dell

Find my Dell by Absolute currently support devices running Windows 10 or 11 (Home and Pro).

Yes, when you purchase more than one license, you can add them all to one account using the same email and password login. Up to 50 devices can be managed within one account.

Find My Dell by Absolute requires the following data to be collected:

• Location data: Gathered from OS location, Wi-Fi triangulation, and if available, GPS.
• Hardware identifiers: Serial number, MAC address and device name.
• Antivirus information: Name, version and install date

No personal data (for example name, telephone, or browsing history) is collected at any time. Email is used only during the activation process, and when you are accessing the app.

To install the Absolute app, please take the following steps:

1. Click on create account to get started.
2. Enter your first name, last name and email address.
3. Go to your email to verify your email address for this account.
4. Create your password and log in to your new account.
5. Enter the Activation Code provided in Dell Optimizer or Dell My Account.
6. Download the software installer on your device
7. Run the MSI file to install and protect your device

Note: It can take up to 20 minutes for your installed device to appear in your account.

The Activation Code for Find My Dell by Absolute is displayed in Dell Optimizer and within your Dell My Account.
